I have been going back and forth for a month now on the 60 rebuild, then install, heater, heater vents, tilt column, and battery rewire. Here is the summit MOHAVE heater installed and the defroster vent modified to accept the vent tubing from the new heater. I also got some vents from a 72 Chevy truck from classic industries i might use and the vent kit from Mohave. Still trying to decide where i want the vents to go and how many. I got the heater wired to the factory rear ac switch with low-med-high the switch that comes in the kit is a little cheap. I also made a plate to cover the whole left behind by the removal of the factory controls.

sweet build! I've been going through every suburban post I can find looking for similar builds to what I have planned. this one is pretty sick. good job keeping everything clean. Its really hard to not rush stuff when they sit idle for awhile. You just want to get it done so you can go play.
Since you ordered a high steer arm from ballistic. How come you didn't get the dual shear? I'm asking since that is what I had put on my 60 to go under the truggy, but will be going under my 88.

don't have much to do so no big deal.
i have a 465 203 205 doubler sitting in the garage also that would be nice to install, I need the doubler adapter and shifters. I have been thinking about selling it and going with an atlas instead.

The plastic caps are just on there for mounting it i did not want to mount it to the radiator so this was the next best spot. It should get plenty of air flow its actually more of a heat sink at idle and so forth.Hey Matt, how come you don't want any airflow throught your P/S cooler?
Just seems kinda silly.![]()
