I was going to buy this truck to replace my dually. But I have a few other projects going and a real soft spot for the dually I have. So I agreed to help the guy sell it instead of me buying it.
My plan would have resulted in it getting parted out, and I think it looks too nice for ME to do that.

454/400 combo with a Holley carb. As of today I haven't looked at the odometer, but it's an old Chevy, so it probably doesn't matter anyway lol.

No I haven't wiped the dust off or cleaned it up. Pics are as it was delivered to me. (Guy lives 3 blocks from the shop)

It does start and run decent, but could use minor tuning/timing, which I'll slowly work on here and there while it sits here.

It looks great, interior is nice. It has had body work in the past for sure. And could use attention in the floor area still.
He told me to list it as $4500 OBO.
But I know he'll go lower if someone is serious about buying it.
If I didn't already have mine, I'd already own it lol.

What pics you want specifically? I know I need to get some of underneath. It does need some work there. But it's all doable if your willing.

Any rust/areas that need attention. Frame, bottom of doors, inner fenders. What ratio in rear, probably 4.10?

Biggest hurdle would be getting it to VA, thats a hike.

The only rust I know about that would need attention at some point is the floors and inner rockers. Front fenders are new repops by what I can see, outer rockers have been replaced, rear passenger door is sorta wonky looking but I haven't really decided why.
Bed has a couple real small holes in the inner wall behind the driver's tire, other than that the bed seems nice.
I have a pair of new front floor pans and inner rockers that will go with it.

No idea of the ratio or if it's ever been changed or anything. I can jack a wheel up and try and measure by spinning a tire and marking the D shaft or something.

Frame is in very good condition compared to some I've had lol.

Oh Lord, it's a 79 too!!!! Love 79's...

2wd? No a/c...just dodged a bullet!

It doesn't look great under there. But half the parts to fix it come with at least.
