Nope, the outer splines of the slug engage the hub and the internal splines engage the stub shaft. Then the dust cap cap covers it all up.

As you know, on the external D44's, the cap has splines that engage the stub shaft and is bolted to the hub. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

The dust cap itself doesn't have splines, but the flange that bolts to the hub does if that is what your meaning /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm glad all that is straightened out, i just got my D44 all painted and put back together ready to swap in here hopefully next month with the 14FF, I sure the hell didn't want to tear it apart again /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif

Cool!! Are you using lockouts or did you keep it fulltime?

I left it fulltime since my 203 is fulltime. Someday maybe everything will get swapped to parttime, but until that day, its just going to stay fulltime /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif kinda handy anyways /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
