i just finished painting my '87 and i gotta say, it looks pretty good! the original "osh" primer was starting to rust, so with a quick sand and 2 days work of painting for $80 bucks, it looks pretty good. I used the rust-oleum semi gloss black for $3.99 a can and gave it two coats. a litte splotchy here and there but it was the best i could get it

looks like mine! i think mine is due for a touch up soon...

big plus: cheap touchups after wheelin'.

i've wondered what colors are easiest to put on without looking splotchy. white, maybe?

Im diggin the decal on the windshield. The paint looks nice too.
I have to do something for mine too. the primer is getting a little bit rusty.
