So I was just given a early 80's dodge rear ff dana 60 w/ 4.10's. I will be putting this in my 79 chevy shortbox along with a chevy 60 upfront.

What disc brake converion works on the dodge rear axles. I see them listed for ford but nothing for dodges. Also can I use chevy 3/4 ton rear disc's and calipers or will this not work. Please dont tell me to put in a 14 bolt b/c I dont want one. I am just curious which disc brake brackets will work.

black widow performance does not have dodge or ford rear 60 brackets. Are they the same as chevy? I emailed kurt at DIY so I should get an answer in the next day or two

Thanks. I am going to ask the gf's dad what year the axle is to make sure. But I believe it is an early 80's. I wonder what changed after 75.

not trying to hijack but where did you get a chevy dana 60 rear? ive heard of them but never seen one or what they come from.

I used a 1980 Dodge D60 for the rear of my FunBuggy...

I had a helluva time finding disk brake brackets and ultimately Bill from Az-Kickin' made them for me. Unfortunately, Bill is no longer in business...:(

Still, I did use Chevy 3/4 ton rotors and calipers w/out an e-brake. I also used 2" backspace 15x8" rims so that the calipers would clear w/out grinding...
