I guess that since this is a Blazer owners forum, I should have some pics of my ride. It's an 81 K5 Jimmy, with a swapped in 79 350 with 87 Vortec Camaro Z28 heads. When it ran, it ran real good, could outrun my parents Suburban at the time. The rear main seal let go on main street in spectacular style (oil pressure went from 40 to 0 in about 5 seconds)
It's got the good ol' SM465 tranny and NP208 t-case. Dana 44 front with a 12-bolt rear, 3.73 ratio. I had a kickin stereo at one time, but while I was in Alaska years ago, my dad tried to sell it, and left it downtown for several nights. When he went to pick it up, he noticed the back window was down

On the dash are VDO gauges and an autometer tach. The whiteface for the factory gauges came from Durango Unlimited (can't find them anymore) on ebay. And, of course, the obligatory rats nest of wire under the dash.
My future plans for "The Beast" are; ORD 3" lift with crossover steering, 33x10.50 tires on 15" or 16" rims, gut and line-x the interior, paint it flat OD tan with dark brown rims (going with a kind of military look)
Also a soft top, (future) roll cage, and a lumber rack cut to fit for a roof rack. And just rebuild or repair what needs to be done, like the motor, which will be a Vortec 350 with auto.
