82 K20 CREW "WONTON"

What bushing are you running in the rear hangers?

Get those fronts working good and that thing is gonna be awesome.

I like flex joints in the rear suspension but I know a couple guys who have complained about some shifting.

Interested to see how you like em
Ive thought about that. If I run into issues I'll try a panhard bar on the rear and see what it does.

I'm interested to see how your spring placement goes too. I inboarded my springs under the stock frame and has some serious body roll issues. But it was on a Blazer and it was a stock frame. I am sure the flex of the frame didn't help at all.

On my Wheeler the springs are inboarded an 1/2" or so from the one ton location. So not much.

Really digging your truck man

Pssshh, looks like plenty of room. And you said 4" lift right? Thanks for the pic. Did you clock your tcase at all or is that in the stock location?

I'm really liking this build BTW...keep up the good work. I like your rear inboarding!

Thanks! Tcase is in the stock location and they are 4in lift springs right now. Not sure how much up travel it will have when I do the 52s.

It would move along faster if you cleaned that shop up a little.... Shhheessshhhh.

Steam hole in water pump?? I'm not up on that...

Nice build!!

I've been slacking on updates. The wiring for the truck and ls is all finished up. Fuel system is done other than mounting the cell. I need to finish my transmission crossmember and get my tuner to stop out and delete all the bs from the ecu and it should be ready to start.

I rebuilt the factory pump and did the flow mod and bumped up the pressure to help the hydro assist.

I'm going to build a large reservoir and put it in place of the drivers side battery. I got a remote pump housing from PSC with AN12 return so I won't have any issues down the road.

I feel like such a schmuck when I look at the work you have done! Nice work. I know that's been said before but really... :waytogo:

What did you use for fuel lines? Factory take-off's or did you go aftermarket flexible?

Everything on it is AN6 lines. I used adapters at the fuel rails, push on lines and fittings from the rails, aluminum hard lines along the frame, and then flex line to the fuel cell.

I got a little bit done this Built a transmission crossmember/skid plate.

Also temporarily mounted the fuel cell and finished hooking up all the lines.

My tuner stopped by and deleted all the bs from the ecu. Filled all the fluids and it started right up! Sounds better than I expected for a junkyard engine.

Welded up a temporary driveshaft, installed a new slave cylinder and got the clutch bled. It finally moves under its own power! So happy to not have to push it anymore
