So I got a set of one ton axles for my blazer build. Spent all week so far grinding them down and disassembling for the rebuild. Found out today from the axle shop that they can’t get this discontinued Gm part # 15595830. What solutions have you guys been doing to remedy this. Can u buy a sleeve or machine out the housing? Please help!!!

For those reading this post: thank you for the info. I called busted knuckle and they no longer do that because it leaves the wall to thin and it ends up breaking. So I am still searching for a bearing. But may just buy another housing so in the future I don’t run into this problem again when and if I ever need to rebuild it again.

So I have taken the diff apart to verify what size the saddle or pilot bearing is. It is 2”.... I don’t know if that’s the small or big one. Any body know the sizes of the bearings?

that seems to be the correct Timkin number thou Timkin's online catalog no longer recognizes it. Skf number is DC57524.

So the bearing you can get for 1988 and older ( except 84 - 85 ) is timkin #R1581TV bore size 1.237" od 2.0472" width 0.765". I haven't found the small bearing size listed yet

I have that bearing I just measured it... o.d. 2.05... width .765 and I.d. Is close to that... I’m 95% sure I have the big bearing
