Well I can't seem to find a buyer for my cummins powered k20, (listed in the complete vehicles for sale section) so it will be the donor truck for my 84 K30 crew cab. I picked this truck up last summer, and it is as clean as you can find (here in the northeast). Its from down south somewhere and is near flawless.
It will be getting the 12 valve/nv4500 out of my K20, an aluminum flatbed and we'll see what else comes up along the way.
Heres some pics in its current state, I will post more as things progress, it will be several weeks before dis-assembly begins.

Goddamn that's CLEAN!
What tires / sizes do you have on there? Absolutely LOVE how the truck looks as it sits.

Its got BF Goodrich all terrains. 35x12.50x16.5's in back on some crazy custom wheels, there the deepest dually wheels i've ever seen, the rear overall width is 102.5" and the front has 315/75x16's on some stock ford wheels. The tread is like new on all but dry rotted badly. Rear wheels will likely be for sale as some 315/75x16's with wheel spacers will be taking there place.

That is a nice nice start! Subscribed

Leave the box!

Are you going to swap the 454/TH400 back into your K20?

Martin

Martin, Take a look at the bed on my K20, and youll see why i'm putting a flatbed on it. Not to mention the flatbed suits my needs much better.
The 454/th400 will likely be for sale, (unless I can find something that sparks my interest to put them in), as will be the k20, just as a solid rig with no drivetrain, or nice tires and wheels.

That CC is pretty kickass as it sits, How long have you had the Cummin's K20?
If your up for it, I understand pics better than dialog, so the more the merrier.
Particularly interested in the Cummins swap, and exactly all the little details that have to happen to make it right. What is the source of the Cummins originally?

Thanks, I put the K20 together almost 3 years ago, and I absolutely love it. Check it out in the for sale listings for all the specs on it. The cummins originally resided in a 94 Dodge 2500. I will do my best to keep the build up to date with pics, but I find my best work is done in my shop, so being in front of my puter isn't always a priority. But I did just join the 21st century with an iphone so that may make it easier.
The cummins swap is pretty cut and dry, just a bit time consuming, which is why I was looking to sell my K20, and then re-purchase all the parts needed for the swap, instead of taking it apart.
