Yeah we got lucky.
Dang. That is really early. I am really going to make an effort to get there this year but not sure I can commit this early.
There are plenty of places to stay and people generally end up in several different locations. Used to be Slickrock Campground was the biggest concentration, now it's Moab Rim Campark.
Damn I wish I could go. Looks like I'm missing koh as well lol.
8 months to figure it out
I should be moving somewhere new in two months and hoping to be able to get time off to go.
Sounds good just let me know after you get settled in.
I got stickerz!
and a shifter
I have one of those too!
@mrk5 I see a poor old half parted K5 in that picture...
What the heck?
Yeah, I know... but I would have a difficult time doing that to some trucks, and then seeing it sit...
I have issues....I know...
Half dead. You should have wheeled some time in the last 2 decades
That K5 was ready to retire after serving in desert storm, then duty with the county sheriff, and finally 12 years of getting pounded into rocks. Most of its guts live on in the crew cab. Course most of those guts came from other parts out trucks.
We lovingly referred to it as "The General"
I remember seeing the General at BB12.
That was my first year.
Back to the build...
had to weld a plate on the bottom of the NWF foot so I could get the hardware to clear the case. Been a bit of a PITA dealing with that NWF piece....
Anyway, this is what I came up with.
Looks good man.... looks like you did great dealing with that foot. Are you going to add bushings on the bottom side too?
Might be late to the party but I found these
I actually designed it to put a bushing on top.
