Trazers are just flat out cool. No ifs ands or buts about it.
I'm using a c10 cab and front clip, luckily i have a full donor truck, so i'll have the cross member and what not.
I'm definitely going with a super stubby flat bed, my rear axle is already pushed back about 2.5" and i want to take about 8-10" out of my frame. I want one hell of a departure angle.
As far designs go, i have my heart set on this design. Definitely a wood deck, 45'd ends, low amount of overhang, etc.
A may do some rails like this rig here, definitely no headache rack though. Too... Redneck/highschool. I want to keep it clean.
As far as bed height goes, I'm going to pull my rear coils out and sit the truck down at full stuff, and start my bed an inch above that. Should give me some more room to run the 12" travel fox shocks too
Any input is welcome and encouraged! Anyone who has built a trail flatbed or hauling bed with input on building in enough strength, strong designs, etc.
And if anyone has pictures of some nice flatbeds, let me see em!
I'm open to all suggestions.
