84'K5 TBI'd on Tons

Yeah I can only hope. I have fuel so that was a good sign and power to all sensors. it's not near as pretty as it would be if I had no deadline but goin with what I got. At this point I'm not going to Tuttle with out efi.

No wheel wells and 40s make it look tiny

Everything is together and I tried to start it late last night. I have power to coil and ECM, I'm pumping plenty of fuel to the tb....but I can't get the injectors to pulse or do anything. Testing power to injectors and I have nothing with key on for some reason. In stumped. Ik it could be a ground problem and ill check those all over again for the 10th time.

Anyone have any other ideas? What else could I test?

Tap them with a hammer. They tend to stick after sitting. Then test with a noid light.

Sticking wouldn't cause them to not get power. Something is wrong if the ECM is not powering the injectors. I'm starting to wonder about how I relayed the fuel pump. Maybe the signal is not turning on the injectors. Then again I should have constant power to them through the ignition 12v so I'm not sure

You have to check power at the injectors with a noid light a test light doesn't show anything.

This really needs updated. Trucks been running great since my last post I found power to injectors and all went well from there. Since the swap I have had it to Tuttle creek ks once, planning a few river runs here soon

Swap went well tho. Finished it up just in time for Tuttle. Was able to wheel if for 2 days straight with no problems.

Someone needs to sell him a reasonably priced hydraulic clutch conversion though.

Martin

Yes Martin I do need one, if I found one reasonable I'd be all over it. Keep your eyes out. For now I really do need a z bar tho
