Ok, I've got a project in mind...

I've been looking at a lot of swb c10 trucks, really want one to fix up for the summer time... Nothing crazy, just a nice little truck.. Maybe lowered just a hair with a nice wheel/tire combo... Something to cruise in with the radio up and the windows down...

I have a 79 Blazer for a trail rig and an 85 K20 to tow and haul with... I've had my eyes open for another K5 to turn into a mall crawler street rig, the right one will come along when it's ready for a good home...

The other day I was looking at Crewcabs... I use to have an 88 srw and love the look, but my bus has a better turning radius than my crewcab did... Really, it does... I live in a cul de sac and was shocked when the bus turned tighter... I've seen a lot of the shortbed crews that guys have built but they're all 4wd...

I started thinking about using a c20 or 2wd burb as the donor for frame and running gear... Find a crew body and clip to drop on it and finish it off with a short wide bed...

Anyone seen a project like this or done one??? I'd like to get some ideas...

Just spit balling right now...

Thanks...

Done many times. Quick google turns up a few.

Cool would be a '67-'72 crew cab short box 2wd.
This was for sale a few years ago. Love this truck

Thanks for the link... Its been a few years since I was last on that site...

Looks like I've got a lot of reading now...:D

I've been considering pulling the bed of the short/wide K10 I picked up for the oldest boy and building him a truggy type flatbed... I'll just store the bed for future use...
