'88 Blazer 2016 Changes. Not many....Yea.

My seats are no longer factory and I don't like how they are installed. I would like to add bars on the floor attaching to the existing cage, and then mount seats to the new bars. Interested?
Yeah, I'd be interested. Sounds fun lol. I'd have to come up there at some point that works for us both and get an eye for what your thinking. Then go from there.
Im off this weekend unless on OT day is thrown at me. ..?

Thank's I'm pretty happy with the out come. It's almost a little to nice. I liked driving it when it was a little beat up and not feel like everyone thinking he must be loaded to have a truck like that. I actually don't have that must stuck in it. There's not a lot of demand for an old 88 blazer with a wheelchair lift:D But now I'm pretty sure it's the only wheelchair access full vert blazer in the world so who knows what it's worth.

As far as the lift goes - the cylinders pull the platform to the door hieght and electric window motors drive it sideways into the truck.
- Then another set of cylinders by the floor pull the chunk of metal that I was on and it folds vertically beside my platform (When the door is closed you can still see part of that metal just below the door) and thats it. I hope that makes since.
Can I ask where you got the roll bars from?

A local dirt track stock car builder, built them for me. The rear passenger bar isn't much. It was put in so we could go to the dunes in Michigan with that group. I might take them out again.

I really should get @shady up here to do some work on the cage for me?

Ok cool Thanks! Yeah looks like I will have to go that route! Truck looks great! Nice job! Mine is on its way up to NY from Florida

Lol. I forgot we tried meeting up about this before. Life hasn't let up much lately either :doah:. But we could still find the time to try again :D

That would be good. The weather went to hell pretty quick last fall and I have been pretty busy, so I haven't really thought about it much. My guy stopped building cars, but that would be the best and quickest route to go if you know of anyone. If not we could definitely look at it.
