'88 Blazer 2016 Changes. Not many....Yea.

yeah I don't like them rims and tires that much but they will do for this year. They're 33's - I put zero rate in the front and moved the axle and put 2.5-3" lift on the left rear and 1.5 - 2" on the right to level it out (blocks) and with the 33's and the lift my wheelchair lift cylinders are maxed out.:( but it's all good.

I ordered a soft top for it on Fiday 06/11 and it arrived 06/16 that's pretty quick. It was friday afternoon and arrived here Wedsenday. I need to get my nephews lined up to install it and hope I can make it work with my drivers door. I also noticed something cracked my driver side signal/parking lamp cover. Does anyone know where to get one?

Post up in the "wanted" classified section here, and I'm sure somebody will have one they'll part with for cheap.

That looks good!

Dont know about the back though.. those edges taht stick down look a little wierd

The back is suppose to veclcro to the tail gate to fit better. I didn't put the velcro on my truck. I'm debating about leaving or getting a strong magnet slipped in behind the soft velcro to see if that holds it to the tailgate tight. I guess I'm not sure if that tailgate is alluminum or steel, I do know it's heavey.

i can't see the new soft top??? but I can see all the other pics. This has been happening alot lately

wow that looks great. I'm sold. Gonna order it next month. Looks like a really nice fit. Hoping that I can avoid alot of wind noise.

said it before, and say it again, that is such a SICK rig :D

lovin the soft top, plan to go that route myself, but not with the current body on the truck. so much rot its gonna go someday.

Thank's for compliments. I really like my truck but still have some thoughts for it. As for the top it is pretty nice but if you're expecting it to be completely weather tight it isn't. I'm happy with it though and would trust it for protection in a reguar rain and for warmth down to certain temp, but I hate the cold. It is fairly quiet on the road (no wind noise) and looks pretty good with the sides rolled up too if you need shade.

one thing that came up on another members rig was with the soft tops clear plastic window on the back. If you feel you arent gonna use the hard top anymore, you can put a pickup truck tailgate on your blazer. its smaller, alot lighter, and wont have the stress cracking at the corners like our tailgates do.

As for the weather, i got a M1009 that isnt at all pretty, it has no carpet, it has no quality interior parts. hell, i thought about rhino lining the interior, and putting boat guages and seats in it so i could leave it topless in the rain and not worry about it :) And Im norwegian, english, irish and german..... what is this cold you speak of? :wink1:

That is SWEET! I didn't notice the door at first look. Wow, I went through the whole thread. That is very nice. I'm glad you are cruzing around in a full vert blazer. How cool is that. Someone has some great skills. That is just cool!!
