My blazer is having problems in 1st gear. It stutters and hesitates. It was backfiring yesterday but that seems to have been taken care of by replacing the fuel filter. When it hesitates there is a clicking noise inbetween and i feel it on the pedal. Here is a link to a video i took while driving it, sorry if it makes you dizzy. Im trying to sell it :( so im trying to get it running correctly. Any help is appriciated.

I know i have a bad 02 sensor but its always been bad and i havent checked fuel pressure yet. Could it be old gas? It only does it in 1st gear. Cant check 3rd gear right now cause i also have a tranny problem. The hard thing is it was running great till it was stolen and I have been fixing ever since.

you should be able to smell bad gas in the exhaust, i would check make sure the valve train is ok. if it was stolen i'm sure it was abused

Replace your O2. Your truck needs it. It very well may fix the problem, since it's running off of fixed values for fueling now.

Even if it doesn't, your economy should improve.

How long has it been since you have put new fuel in it? Easy check off, just put a few gallons of premium in it, and that should eliminate it if thats the problem

Thanx

I think my best bet is to do all of it. I need to give it a tune up, new gas, etc... It probably needs just a little attention and it will be fine. Its always had its minor problems but nothing I cant fix. Thanks for all the advice.

Fixed

Well its fixed with new cap, rotor, plugs and wires and some premium gas and fuel cleaner! Thanks for all the replies and help.
