91 K5 Project New Blazer

89-91 are supposed to have the galvanized body panels too. Your is in better shape than my 89. I went the way of the Trazer about 2-3 years ago and it is just barely coming into. My .02 cents is do your rust repair and then do some serious rust prevention (ie undercoating).

what 2" springs did you put in under the big block and how do you like them? did you measure how much actual lift you achieved?

I have edlebrock silver ceramic headers on my 84 camaro. They look good on your yellow engine, but I know if I did it again I would get titanium or black ceramic just because mine haven't stayed shiny. Getting the flanges right can be a real pain, One of my friends spent days welding and grinding his till they were actually the right shape and sat on the block at the correct angle for clearance of linkage and oil filter starter etc.

I used this kit. I don't know how much lift I actually got. I took out a hacked 6 or 8 inch.

I like it just fine. In the future I would like to get some Bilstein 5100 shocks for it.

I have made some slight progress. all the rust is cut out and I am starting to fit mew metal.

This is the first piece I welded in

Rust work

I will be handling this same kind of damage you have next year. Mine was not so bad. Good looking truck and dog. Scribed.

I did the drivers side. I ran out of time so I had a body shop do the passenger side. I also had them paint the doors and rear quarters. Except for the rockers and floor all the panels are original.

I did not dyno it after I changed the pistons and cam. I did can the TBI and equiped it with a Holley EFI system.

Looks like you did a good job! Turned out great, hoping to start my rear floor sometime in the next month or 2.
