Hi all, im new here. My dad has a 92 Suburban and coming home one time he was idleing to a stop sign and it just died and wont restart. It doesnt even turn over very strong. I hooked jumpers to it and it turns over stronger but wont start. It has a new fuel pump and i can smell gas getting to the throttle body. What should i start checking? i guessing the timing chain broke. Or is there some ignition module or something i should check first. thank you for any help. tom

Same thing happened to mine...ignition module was bad... I was overvolting a bit...15.2 volts.... swap out an Accel unit if you can afford one.... MUCH better spark!
