To clear this up the "cube or box" vans are P-series. Those have a frame cause they make RV, Cube, The G-series are all uni-body. I still have the sales brochure from 1992 & 93...
We had a van run here in San Diego ...
All brands new old about 75 showed up that day ....

I was referring to the "cut away" G series vans,not the P series step van chassis..
I'm surprised only 75 vans were at that gathering..!
I would have thought out there many more "survivors" would be around and there would still be a lot of enthusiasts driving vans and camping out in them...around here there is hardly any "old" vans left,my '81 seems to be the last one in my local area of that vintage,and anything older is very scarce..don't even see any in salvage yards very often any more...

It was in Feb what was your weather ? Some from SD & some from LA . Even the Vegas club came. Everybody East of the rockies had there van in storage due to weather. The East Coast only has about a 3-4 month vanning season.

The NATS are this coming wknd in IL. From the NATS ... "It has to be a van, a cutaway chassis with a box or a motorhome wont be let in unless they are towing a van." They dont reconize the cutaway as a van.

Hmm...let's see..February...
If I recall correctly,there was about 7 feet of snow on the ground then here,with 12+ foot drifts...by months end,there was over 9 feet in most towns,some had 12 feet with higher drifts !..
Wasn't any "cruise nights" then around here,even the snowplow truck owners didn't gather for coffee anywhere!..

This was taken around the first of February...that lump in the driveway is a 2014 Nissan Sentra..the building across the street is 14 feet tall at the peak..
Did you stay up to see the NASCAR race last night.... mayhem start to finish. Dillon's car went into the fence ripped that car in half & thru the engine into the infield, at the finish line on the last lap.

Nice van. Its coming from a rust free zone ...Vegas. Those rims are factory billet , min $99 each if you buy the whole set otherwise they can get $150 ea. Same set I have on my '92 ....
Here I am waiting for my Dr. appt. ..... having a cup of coffee & watching the morning news.
How well Ive kept my vans , a 454 smog reports .....

there is a 4x4 chevy van for sale here in town, I have thought about it a couple times but just cant bring myself to get it. its an older one though and im guessing just half ton axles.
Get it, you wont regret it ...
Elko NV, Nevada State Maintance were out looking for oil in my '93 4X in '97-'98 in Elko. There is /was a sticker on the pass visor from NV. The writing is way faded. Ill go get a pic.....
