a brief description on whats going on. The truck was running fine, suddenly started missing randomly on one occasion. Ran fine for a while. Now it won't start, but sometimes does. Drove it into our shop without any misses or anything. Then started missing really bad. Now it won't start at all.

We replaced the cap and rotor. They were about 2 years old. Replaced the fuel pump..again. Replaced the coil. Wires checked out ok. Rebuilt the fuel pressure regulator.

There is only one code, but didn't kick the light on. Code 54- fuel pump relay circuit. Relay is good, and the fuel pump when running has 12.5 volts, KOEO 5-7 sometimes. I tried running another ground to the fuel pump thinking the ground may be bad(it runs up to the thermostat housing) and it didn't change anything.

We tested the TPS and it checks out. The IAC we found is bad, put on a good one and it didn't change anything.

We are totally stumped on this. Does anyone have any ideas?

It has plenty of gas shooting into the TB. Smells rich. We swapped out the module in the distributor, and that didn't fix it. I have a feeling it's ignition. Pickup coil is under the rotor, correct?
