97 Yukon A/C evaporator?

I put a new compressor and accumulator in my truck today in an apparently futile attempt to get my A/C functioning again after 2 years, but the evaporator is also leaking. Really badly. Is there a trick to getting it out, or am I really gonna have to pull the dash off?

u have to pull the dash to get to the evaporator, u can cheat on the heater core but not the evaporator
