Theory should work, or install it in the front upside downJust thinking out loud here, but if you were stuck with mounting the calipers like that, couldn't you pull them off and bleed them clamped on a spare rotor or something where you could turn the bleeders to the top, then just reinstall them?
Of course that would also require flexible brake lines. Just wondering how you'd solve the problem...
