A crew cab CONVERTIBLE tow rig?

Here is the seller's response:

Hello,

Well I am driving the truck weekly and I had no problems with the windshield.
The truck was never painted It an flat black paint job.
The truck has new tires with the normal loading capacity.
Yes air suspension is great for towing!!
I still have the org. carburator so if you need to smog the truck that should be no problem!

Here is my next message:

Is there a top that goes on this vehicle? I don’t see anything to receive or seal to a top. The top of the A-pillars and doors are not finished and the top of the windshield is open. The door windows were deleted, so the top would need windows to keep the rain out. I don’t know how those windows would open, so entry and exit would be difficult or impossible with a top. Plus, the windshield wipers and wiper motor were deleted. This leads me to believe the vehicle is full-time topless and not a “convertible” as the listing states. Since it’s only set up for sunny weather, how can you make a long tow?

I couldn't help myself and had to ask "questions" myself....:doah: :D
I'm here in California and could be interested.
How is the vehicle currently passing smog with no AIR and a non stock carburetor? Does it still have a catalyctic converter?
2. How much work is left to finish the windshield area to keep it from caving in? How does the top work, since it's a convertable right?
Are those v tread tires "E" rated like factory tires, so it can properly still tow and haul?
Is the air suspension setup a real 1 ton kit designed for the truck, or are they universal 1/2ton 1500 bags?
These items are essential for me to understand if I could still use this vehicle in weather other than 80* and sunny, and I can still hook up a 12,000lbs gooseneck trailer to it, like it could from the factory, and not have an incorrect suspension system fail due to it not being designed for the actuall weight rating of the truck.
Or, is this built with such "non" 1 ton items and just a potential "show" piece?

Although I don't like the fit and finish of that pile of crap.....I am still busting a guys balls at work to sell me his mint '76 C30 3+3..........for $2k. and He's the original owner.

I am absolutely going to rat rod it with another twinturbo'd 12v Cummins, that I've got. flat black. with 22.5" alcoas. I won't touch the suspension it I don't have too, maybe just ladder bars, so I don't break springs. If I can get the balls and coin together, I may even chop the top......not convertible. but an actual choptop. Damn straight, new school clashes with old school 600horse daily driver dually. And If you for a second think I give a crap what anyone thinks........just look at my '98 2500 Dodge with twins other goodies and a 6" miter stack. Rolls Coal with the BEST of 'em.

Something VERY sililar in idea to this but with A '76 C30 CC and a fat cummins. ....

funny I just came across this again. been 2 years now. though i don't remember what that original vert dually looked like.

I am still on track for my dually goal. just been a couple years slower than anticipated :doah:

Hahahahaha. whatever. I love my 12v cummins crewcab dually. NO..... not finished yet. might be of of those trucks thats never "done" but I still love my truck.
