Background:
Front: about 8" of front lift with some super stiff springs I bought locally. Very little flex
Rear: Echobit shackle flip in the rear with stock springs.

I've decided to go with 52" springs up front and whatever lift springs I need to level the rear (it's saggy right now). I'm ready to order the front springs now, so I need your help.

I've read most of the posts I could find about the 52" swap, and now I know that your basic swap with stock rear springs in the front will give you 4" of lift. I need 8". My question is: Will a set of 4" lift rear springs in the front give me the 8" I need and still be flexible and soft enough? Or will I just end with another stiff suspension as I currently have right now? I'm planning on using Tuff Country EZ Rides. Although I have a 454 and will someday install a winch I don't want the HD ones because I'm afraid It'll end up just as stiff as I'm right now. Or should I get the HD ones?

I've ridden with some friends in their Toyota Land Cruisers and a Range Rover with air bags and they just float over the washboards and rough trails at any speed they like, while I have to go slowly or else I feel I'm gonna break the frame or something.

Thanks for your help guys.

Yes a 4in lift rear spring will give a total of 8in lift and they might be alittle stiffer than running just a stock set of 52's but not as bad as the springs you are running now.

There is a guy on here that is running a setup something similar to what you are wanting to run and it flexes great. Ill try and find some pics of it.
