scary ****. hope it didn't hurt too many more than what i have already seen
I heard you're sposed to duck and cover. So do that.
Don't get to many of those things round these parts.
The Butthole of America.
crap that **** is out by you huh?
how bad is it?
i was watching the radar, it seems to have passed over
Well I guess the worst of it was just to the south in Seminole. It was pretty wicked when it was passing by. All that ended up happening was a butt load of rain. Still under a warning but I think that will pass pretty soon. Cali boy gets skeered when sirens go off.
Fock all that! My ass was ready to go into my storm shelter. You don't think I was stoopid enough to buy a house in Okieville with out a shelter do you.
well......you did buy a house in okie
Heh. I was all tryin to be funny n stuff like that.
That sh!t is scary!! (for those of us that aren't used to it...)
When I drove down to TX 6 years ago I was on my way home and had been hearing about tornadoes all through Oklahoma, and actuall saw one about to touch down north of Oklahoma city. When I got to Wichita I heard the sirens going off just as I got into town...was listening to the radio and hearing there was a big funnel about to touch down about a mile from where I was on the highway. It was black as the middle of the night at 5 pm and was raining so hard it was like someone had a firehose aimed at my truck. I was wishing for a shelter!!!
i dunno aboot you guys in tornado country.... y don't you build concrete houses or something?!
or get the fu(k outta there?
It may snow and get to -2304983249058*c here but we dont have wind circles.
that new foam-mold concrete building technique only costs about 10% more than a conventionally framed house. I dunno aboot the rest of ya, but if I lived in hurricane or tornado land, I'd seriously consider it. I bet insurance would cover the difference after a few years and I'll sleep a whole lot better!
Glad you and the family are okay man
Got about 18 years or so living in this country. Have seen a grand total of two funnel clouds, back when I was a kid and they never touched down. On the flipside, I went through Loma Prieta and Hurricane Iniki.
I've got 36 years of living in this town and have only seen one funnel forming but never touched down. I have never seen one after that, forming or running.
That's because they all get one look at you and go running the other way, then they tell all of their little funnel cloud buddies about the ugly guy.............
