Removing the entire thing. I pulled all the ducts an just about everything but the heater feed lines. Can I bypass the heater core to remove it by just connecting the coolant line from the radiator straight to the motor? Or will this mess with the effectiveness ofthe coolant system?

Go to auto parts store pick up adaptor .It will have the different size ends to connect hoses together bypassing heatercore.

Yeah, i forgot to mention the adapter, been that ong since i have messed with a heater hose setup. 5/8 on one end 3/4 on the other. Ususlly just splice the two different hoses together with it.

Awesome thanks guys. Now I just gotta figure out what to do with the huge holes

This won't be temporary though. Will it hurt the motor in any way or actually help it in any way?

You can also just plug both of them. Leave a short piece of hose on the rad and plug it with an appropritely sized piece.

On the motor, pull the fitting and put in the same size fitting in a plug. One less hose in the way when you're working on things.
