I just finished rebuilding my entire AC system and maybe went a little overboard by Dynomatting the whole evaporator box (mounted to firewall). I guess I forgot that the drain hole needed to be left open to allow condensation to drip out. :doah: Does anyone know specifically where on the bottom of the evaporator box the drain hole is? I really don't want to undo all the work I've done, and it would be easier to just remove a small amount of Dynomat to open the drain hole again.

I've spent a lot of time looking for this drain hole, and I can't find it. I'm about ready to get out the drill and small bit to drill a new one. Does anyone have a picture of what this supposed drain is supposed to look like or where it's located?

i was mistaken its on the seam toward the firewall on the driver side of the box

I appreciate that more than you know. :waytogo: I'll locate mine after work today and run piece of wire or something through it to unclog it.

Yes, I was able to finally locate it. I tried looking from under the truck, but there's too much "stuff" blocking the view. So, I ended up wrapping a small piece of wire around my index finger, and bent one end out about an inch. I used it to feel around from above (reaching down between the airbox and engine manifold). Once I felt the drain, I used my wired index finger to poke the hole. There was apparently a lot of water just sitting in the box, cause it drained out quite a bit. Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it.
