I still haven't found out what works to keep the caster angle close to stock with very little or no vibration/problems on the street. Shims? What degree? And with what length shackles, where'd you move the mounts, etc, etc. I'm still debating whether to move the front hanger forward off the body mount and going with ~7" shackles and moving the shackle mount forward slightly or making my own front spring hanger and putting it directly under the body mount with 5.25" shackles and leaving the shackle mount in its stock position. So let me know what works, what doesnt, and what I should do.
Thanks :D

I left the rear eye hanger in the stock position used 6" shackles and set the angle the way I wanted it. No vibrations/bad manners at all.

Wheres the front mount (Or asuming your using your b52 mount, where's the bolt located that goes thru the springs?)? Idealy thats what I would want to do, I really dont want to have to move the rear shackle hanger but it seems the only way to do that is keep the front hanger directly underneath the body mount or have a terrible shackle angle. Even more ideally, I would use your b52 mount, but I dont quite have the budget for it

i had lifted 52s, custom front crossmember 2x4 hss, and longer shackels, also had degree wedges

I used stock style steering with dropped draglink and lifted arm

it was fine, but not recommended for offroad at all..

I am now putting the 52s with add a lift and crossover in my 81 longbox

i recommend the 2.5 lift 52s up front, give u 6-7 inchs of plush plush!
