Air fuel gage

Yeah, I did the same thing. Pretty sure I recall cracking one as it went into coilbind and didn't realize as I was tightening it up.

It wasn't terrible to shim the factory one, but it also wasn't particularly easy/fun taking it apart multiple times hoping to dial it in, finding that the pumps were more of the problem.

I'm assuming an aftermarket replacement isn't too ridiculous in terms of cost. I'd be a bit hesitant going with too much more spring pressure, as I'm not sure how much the housing will take before cracking. Valve spring! lol

I hate to say it, but maybe larger injectors are going to be easier?

A Lunati inner spring should fit right?

I think the aftermarket ones are running $70-100, whether it be pod mounted or an inline to put on the fender

I edited my post but not fast enough...how much do larger injectors run?

I think Morse had them for $75 a set. I looked at a bunch of stuff so that mayb be wrong

I’m testing on the old engine now, I think if I get the pressure I’ll be ok. The psi going up 1 increases the fuel rate 4%

I still think you oughtta boil these 31's I got bfore you pull the engine out...

It’ll skip the 37s if you stand on it on first
:rotfl:

I'm sure the 37's will scratch, but what is the fun in killing your expensive shoes and possibly a axle, when you could demolish some old and light rubber instead?

Should we do this before or after the drag race you owe me?

For $75 the injectors (being rebuilt or new I assume, and flow matched) may be the better option though. The AFPR's for TBI seem to be fairly pricey, and if I was going to spend money on something, it would probably be new injectors. Just a thought. Assuming you just can't get the pressure easily.

I still think you should deadhead the pump to make sure there isn't something like a split or leaking hose/sending unit you are dealing with.

That’s all new and the fuel lines are -6 AN braided stainless
