Alernator wiring questions, real time.

I looked around in search and didnt see much to the point.

I am working with a 1982 Chevy K5 with butchered harness. And their version of de-smog.

The alternator has a connector with two leads, both are connected but where they go is a mess of booty fabbed splicing.

Does anyone know what the plug goes to?
