Allison 1000 4wd to 2wd ?

What are you doing with it? I do know from experience that the 4wd needs that last vss to function and with the vss mod in the tcase the trans will only shift in 1:1 otherwise the gear reduction will make it think it’s slipping and go into limp mode.
I haven’t however tried using the 263 tcase that comes behind the Allison mainly bc it’s driver side drop.

plan is swap it from 4wd to 2wd and put the 8.1/allison 1000 in another 3500-hd truck i have .
So you’ll need a housing for that vss that’s the same speed as the other sensors in the transmission
