Allison 1000 trans fluid

Mike L wants dex/merc or transynd used in all his built transmissions. If you mention dex6 he will shake his head and explain the reasons its a no no. Allison even says dex6 is not to be used in any Allison and will not warranty a trans if it is used. (all Allisons in GM are warrantied dirrectly from GM for this reason)

I have a Mike L trans in mine so I use synthetic dex/merc, aka dex3, as per Mikes instructions. When mine was stock I used a tes 295 approved fluid, aka synthetic dex3.

What year trans do you have? If its pre 06 it came with dex3 from the factory.
