I have some Amsteal blue winch rope to replace the cable on my winch. Can I still use my roller fairlead or do I need to get a non-roller aluminum fairlead.

thanks

I think the new aluminum/billet one would be best, but I think they recomend a new fairlead when switching to synth-rope. Any burs or anything on the old can be bad /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yep, you can use a brand new roller fairlead but if it's torn up at all it will kill the rope. I went with an alluminum 1 piece fairlead.
