Ok, I'll take it... just ship it on over!
That looks too clean, you better install in quick and get it dirty.
You lucky MOFO!! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
Yeah, what ratio is it?
Yes,what they said.
are those as good as the doubler? i know the jeepers love them, but are they as strong? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
That thing looks like it should be on display somewhere! Puuuurty. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif
I was wondering where that went to.. can i please have it back now...
It's the 4.3 /forums/images/icons/grin.gif I'm going to try to hook it all up today. I might throw up some pics tonight if it all goes well.
Details and pics of the adaptor to mate it to the th400 you have. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Well I used the trusty ck5.com "wanted" section and picked me up a TH400/NP208 adaptor for $60. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif You just have to make one hole bigger for all the holes to line up on the atlas. I figured that was a better deal than Advance Adaptors two that it would take to mate it. Especially since they wanted $350 for them. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
I made my tranny and atlas mate this afternoon /forums/images/icons/blush.gif . I'll have pics tonight or tomorrow.
How much $$$$ did you drop on that???
A pretty penny. I got it from Parts Mike. He could probably tell ya. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
That "pretty penny" would be around $2500, give or take a couple hundred. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Is it as strong as a doubler?? Well I think so. I have been running my Atlass for 3 years now and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
I think of it like this, it is a single unit. Not a cas in front of a case, less parts, less room, less to break. I know that a lot of the monster trucks are running Atlass Cases. Now there is some Horspower being pushed in and out of them things.
Chad, Congardulations, you will love it.
It also weighs less than a Doubler, and possibly a 205 t-case?
The thing only weighs 115 lbs. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
I had my heart set on one of those but I changed my mind.I got to thinking that I might not want only 1:1 and 4.3:1. The 4.3 is way cool but I do alot of stuff where its too low and 2:1 is perpfect.I like the 2:1 and 4:1 you can choose with the doubler. Now If they made the 2 ranges in the Atlas 2:1 and 4.3:1 that would be sweet /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
I don't see why Atlas would make a 2:1 t-case because almost all of the production line trucks already have 2:1 low range in the stock t-cases.
Wouldn't be worth making for Atlas. They do offer a 3:something t-case for those who need something between 2:1 and 4:1.
