After a few years of lazy ass. I've finally got my 87 K5 up and going. There is nothing special about it other than I built it with about 5 parts trucks and a lot of beer. Have a look. The frame and tub was my core. I bought it with no motor, steering column, front clip, doors, ac, gas tank, fuel lines, and no wiring what so ever...anywhere, this thing was bare. I used the wiring out of 3 different trucks, gas tank from an 83, front clip 84, doors from what ever, motor 88 caprice. I'm insearch of some streetable 35"s as I've got a 4" lift sitting in the shop for it and my 3/4 ton gear out of my trail rig. I think I've got almost $1000 if you count the full price on all of the parts vehicles I bought. I think the colors give it character....what do you think?

That's cool. Goes withthe whole "Built Not Bought" theory. Makes a man feel good when he can look at something and say "I made that." Good job.
