Alberta Safari Co. ,Alberta's First Private Off-road Park, held their Annual Club run this weekend. We wanted to get there early afternoon but only finished working on the truck at 10;30 PM, then Robin had a serious case of food poisoning . Only got to bed at 3;00 AM and we were on the road by 4;30 AM. We decided to join in on the fun, sleep or no sleep. Thirty five rigs showed up. The trails were challenging with some serious mud. The Discovery Channel film crew was also there. They were interested in getting a story on how technology has changed today's 4x4. Expect to see some coverage on the TV show "Daily Planet" on Discovery channel very soon- will post up when. There were some impressive rigs taking on the trails. It was a serious mud fest with lots of carnage !! The weather co-operated to make it even better. Mark's new buggy from Rocky Mountain Off Road conquered "Impossible Hill" , the first one to do it. We wanted to give it a go but after taking on a serious hole , our distributor got wet and we didn't get a chance to try it. Next time
.
