Can anyone identify these front lift springs on my '77? They appear to be a 4inch lift, but I would like to know the manufacturer. They need new bushings, but I'm not sure if I would rather just go with something else.

Look like old firm ride Rancho's to me, number 40054S. These are 4" springs.

Are the bushings painted black over red?

They could also be Pro-Comps as I believe they share the same springs as Rancho.

Not sure on the color of bushings, I'll scrape some paint off of them. The torn one seems to have some faint red exposed after power washing everything yesterday.

**Also, a couple of the crusty old shocks have the remains of Rancho stickers on them.

If the bushings are red, my money is on Rancho. Those old springs have something like a 750 lbs. per inch rating. Yikes!
