You are on to something, I bet Ethel puts Franks Red hot on her spark plug threads to get a hotter spark!
And that 1911 round probably gains another 50 ft/sec with some franks red hot on the slide! Just think if you reload with a mix of Hodgdon Longshot and Franks Red Hot!

I also use Franks red hot on exhaust bolts and thermostat housing bolts, cuz dissimilar metals

I use it on wheel studs too.
I’ve heard as well if you use antiseize on wheels studs torque is reduced by 20-25%
Jegs 65000 volt coil, Pertronix flamethrower 3 ignition module, 10.5mm plug wires, E 3 plugs.
May not ignite pure water but it will ignite cheap crap AM/PM gas which is known to have lots of water in it, at least in our area.

That is the one place I consistently use it.
Ive heard and read it many times on lug studs to not use any lubricant...only dry, but clean and with good threads, but cant quickly find much GM info to back it up....
That said, I consistently use it on all my vehicles and use a torque wrench as well.
Permatex and Tire rack recommendations...

That apparently my wheels are going to fall off of.
Given that the torque specs I've found are generally at the extreme end of the rating for that diameter fastener, there probably is very little fudge factor to deal with.
Heck, how many really even use a torque wrench on lug studs? It's not real tough to reach 75ft-lbs, which is the 7/16 lug stud spec IIRC, and if not using a torque wrench, I'd be willing to bet more often than not, they are technically "over-torqued" even by those not using anti-seize. And yet live. Lol.
