I need a set of d44 high steer arms and tie rod for my k20. I like the fact that their arms are 2.5" tall and don't require use of a spacer as well as maintain use of the factory length studs which Ive already purchased.:D My worry is that since they are located in Canada I may have some trouble getting my parts in a timely manner. I need them in 2 weeks and plan to place an order tomorrow. Am I dreaming that I can get everything in time from nwf or should I look else where?

Thanks Guys
Txchevy

I don't know if they are really busy right now or what but my buddy waited for a cable shifter for a while I don't remember the time frame, although in their defense he did say he wasn't in a hurry.

He did order a Black Box from them at a later date and while I don't have current info about what his order status is, they have told him twice that it has or will be shipped, and it has not been shipped when they said it would

Now I have read many things about NWF and realize they are a small shop and things may take longer, from what I have seen their quality is second to none. This also seems a bit unusual for them, hopefully they are just really busy and making tons of money.

I got a doubler set up from them. Long long story short the adapter plate between the 203 and 205 didn't fit had to have a buddy with a cnc machine mill it out to work, the studs supplied were of such low quality that the 205 plate wouldn't even fit because the studs were warped... And it took like four weeks to arrive something about being stuck in boarder check point or something. After seeing a ord doubler in person they are of a much higher quality control. I can't speak on the black box or there shifters. Oh also forgot that all the bolts were grade three, which I replaced with grade 8 and arp studs.

There's a member here whose dealing with a very similar problem right now with them  !!

I've had 2 transactions with them and both went well. My delivery times were a little slow BUT they were very close to what was quoted. One night I spent about a half hour on the phone with Kyle while he schooled me on steering parts.

I would definitely buy from them again.

The GF ordered me a 1410 yoke for my 14b for christmas and ordered it right after thanksgiving...it didn't get here till about 2 weeks after christmas and was actually shipped from HAD...They started avoiding her phone calls and wouldn't reply to emails. I tried to explain to her at first that they are a small shop in canada...but that BS got old quick. I would order from ORD well before id bother calling them again, and i almost boycott ORD as it is...

im running NWF reverse hi-steer and the quality is second to none! shipping was a killer tho since they are in canada and i have to pay customs fees or some crap. im very happy with the product, ill definitely buy from them again

If you don't need the behind the axle type arms. Sky sells the tall D44 arms as well and they should be able to get them to you in time. Call NWF if they can't do it then call Sky. I run Sky's 44 arm and am probably gonna run their 60 arm as well.

Does anyone else think the S bend in the 60 crossover draglink should be closer to the pitman arm? Mine does have a longer tierod on that side (nother story) but it still seems like it should be further away from the crossmember on flat ground with the wheels turned right. It appears to me I could have gone with a straight tube and get simular results.

Being in canada was the main reason i ordered form them. Did not think it would take this long though, good thing i do not have the truck ready for the d60 swap yet or i would be very angry.

I think SKY was the cheapest but did not want to pay the crap shipping charges over the border.

Did you try and call them to resolve your issue? Not every company can make a perfect product 100% of the time. I hope you took the time to call with your issues before you start talking smack about a vendor here. Im not hammering on you, Im just saying if you did nothing about it, its partly your responsibility as a customer to see that your concerns are taken care of. If you did call and nothing got fixed or resolved, then its on them and your justified.

I have delt with them only once and it was all good, as is alot of guys here with NWF.

I've had good experiences with NWF.

Call them, they will be honest with you aboot shipping times ;)

And they forget to tell you about border fees...

They were a week late on my stuff, and sent it to the wrong address...
Forgot to tell me about the 23 bucks on the border fee...

STILL havent returned my "upset" email I sent 2 months ago... :(

2 thumbs down...

If your looking for high steer system the only choice I would recommend is WFO Concepts Trevor is top notch, beyond great customer service and if there ever was a problem with a product he would back it no avoiding calls, customs bs... But I have never heard anyone have any problems with any aspect of his business.

I can't complain about the arm. It is STOUT!

I ordered a spacer to do a 4l80e to a 205. They had to order material and wait for CNC time to run a batch. The price and ship time was as they said. They talked to my tranny guy to make sure everything was good, as far as the right out put shaft length. I am very happy with their tech and service. No one else makes this spacer. It was $200 shiped 2nd day air. Would not hesitate to buy from them.

This thread is driving me crazy....:crazy::haha:

I'm in the market for 60 hi steer arms myself.. I want quality.. Mad Roosters are out of my range.. But I REALLY like NWF's stuff, especially the angle in gig... I'm afraid with 4 1/2" of backspacing and a 15.5 tire, of an interference issue.. Tho I hear you get better geometry with a straight or angle-out arm... I'm also considering Ballistic Fab, WFO's and Sky's offerings too..

Who makes a nice billet kingpin cap for the top of Trevor's arms?

ok

Hmm I think im gonna have to rethink the nwf Idea. Id really like to have them in a week, 2 at the most. I have 1" arms now and they are 1/4" too short. I was hoping for the nwf since they are 2.5" tall so that I could run a zerorate. I guess I can always do a 52" or 56" spring swap to get the tires out of the firewall. Whats everyones opinion on running spacers if needed under the arms? It sounds like a bad idea to me but i've been wrong before. Not to mention id need to but 2 stud kits again.

As of now it looks like im going with Tall sky arms(1 7/8"). Since I need a new tie rod anyway is it worth the hassle to go with reverse high steer arms? It seems like an awful lot of stress on a factory knuckle and the 40's don't help either...:doah:

I figured Ill have my tierod made by blazen offroad since they are almost 1/2 the price of sky( $85 compared to $150).

Thanx for yall's help guys:bow:
