The new 4 door tacomas????
don't know much about them. but Toyotas seem to hold up very well.
Tacomas are nice, gas mileage leaves a little to be desired, hwy is only 21-22mpg. If you get a prerunner it may be a little better though.
I just really like the way our T100 has held up, my only complaint is the seatbelts dont retract, other than that I can change the plugs and oil without having to take the engine out, hell I even got the starter out and fixed the solinoid twice. Are the newer ones any different????
Up to 04 models, they are relatively "user friendly". Oil filter is a PITA, thats it. I know nothing of the newer styles though, drove one and didnt like it.
The tacoma is supposed to be the "small" truck, it felt too big for me and the wife. It felt like it lacked in power compared to her 04. The front end is pretty either.
I have a friend with a '06 4 dr 4wd tacome and it is a great truck. I don't know about working on it, but it is very nice to ride in/drive.
cant say the styling team wasnt high when they design the fugly bastid... but yota builds a good truck, i say go for it, or maybe look at trailblazers... love mine, towed my 86 cab home with it today, i was impressed....
My brother has an 04 4dr Tacoma and really seems to like it. I was gonna buy one in 05 but I went for the Dakota instead. I bought it based purely on the fact that I got a much better deal and a lot better warranty. For what it's worth I got 40k on it and absolutely zero problems with it, I am quite impressed with the quality of it and how solid it feels...........
a guy i worked with bought a 4dr dakota, man did that thing ride and drive awesome... pretty good room too, i sat in back a couple times, and at 6'2" thats not bad room...
Don't waste your time. No power cheap interior and very cramped..........
sorry... fixed it lol
Get the Nissan Frontier version....cheaper and just as reliable.
version? its not the same truck ya know... and personally ive never been a neesan fan of their quality...
Really? I thought toyota and nissan were owned by the same company...
Version as in version of a four door midsize truck.
