I've got a 89' 700r4 Can anybody tell me if this diagram is right? The reason I ask is because when I took off the valve body I had only 1 check ball fall out (90% sure) not 3. When I put the valve body back on I put check balls back in locations A, B. & E. After I got the trans installed every gear made the truck go forward even reverse and neutral. I took the valve body back off and took out check balls A & E now I dont have any gear.
I know the problem is a check ball, so my question is does anybody know the correct locations that I need check balls in (in a 89' 700r4). I've come to the conclusion this diagram is incorrect.(this is not the first error I've found in this book) Thanx to all that help...
