I haven't, this is first time I ever broke one. Usually u bolt just stretches. And this time I was tightening u bolt every chance I got and noticed the bolt was bent when I got home.I think it would come right out with 1/4” hole drilled through the middle of it. Then eazy-out.
Have you tried a stud like ord sells?
I believe that it was bent, but I don’t think it’ll be bent down inside the housing. You said you were cranking on it, I wonder if it’s bottomed out. That will make it tougher to get out for sure. That might be an option too, I just got a feeling that one isn't coming out easy.
Damnit. That’s definitely stuck. Still, you’d be surprised how much tension is released when you drill out the center of it. After you drill it, give er some heat and then fill it with penetrating oil. If it doesn’t budge with an eazy out at that point, weld a 3/8” bolt in it.I was using the cheater bar to try and loosen it. And it broke trying to remove the bolt. My 400ftlb impact wouldn't even spin it out. And I was putting some weight into the cheater bar to try and break it lose. And that's when the bolt broke. I just had that bolt out a few months ago replacing the center pin on leaf springs. It bent from the axle twisting in the u bolts.
May the force be with you!Yup I'm going to go out and try in a few, just waiting for it to cool down a little before I start
