anybody know about D300 TC's?

im doing some idle hands browsing on possibly TC's for the truck in the future, and came across a site that can rebuild a D300 with a 32 spline output shaft and 4:1 gears, and sells the adapter to put it behind a 700R4.

on ebay they are selling for 180-300 bucks.

is this a pretty decent TC? would it work well with a 6.2/700R4 combo ??

They are an excellent case for a JEEP.I would'nt waste my money trying to put it in a FS.

300's just dont have enough beef for a full size.

I'd be willing to bet that a D300 is stronger than a NP208 or NP241.

It depends on what you want to do with it. I would bet that for most things it would survive under a full size truck but it sure as hell isn't as strong as a 205.
