Can you feel a lot more engine vibration in the cab than with rubber motor mounts? I used poly motor mounts and trans mounts and got it running for the first time last night. It feels extremely rough in the cab but runs good, all 8 cylinders are firing adn the timing is dead on. This is the only thing I can think of that would make it feel like its running rough.

I have poly engine and trans mounts on my '90 with the 6.2..........I noticed very little difference between the stock rubber and the new poly mounts.

Only slightly, very slightly more vibes with the poly stuff... Hard to notice if you didnt know they were different.

I run poly engine mount inserts and a stock rubber tansfer case mount. This helps greatly control torque wrap and I have not noticed any vibration increase.

how are your body mounts? it might be hitting the frame in a spot and giving you more vibs.

but i have them and love them.

I think that is the ticket. I do not have the body bolted to the frame and 3" body lift blocks in the front/none in the rear. It looks like the body is resting on the frame in the rear. PLUS it looks like the rear of the tcase is touching the top of the tub too.

Before you think WTF is this toolbag doing with half of a body lift installed I will explain....I had to put the front portion of the lift in to clear the doubler. I have not cut out the trans tunnel yet...That will be this week.

Damn gremlins....
