that's about it.
I have a HF one... laying in the garage as we speak.
No ya dont I stole lastnight while you were sleepin...
hmmm. interested in loaning it out some time in the next 3 months? i just need to adjust my injector pump timing and it's a real PITA without something like that.
Just buy an individual Gearwrench off the Snappy or Mac truck, $13...
Or have Lindsey get it for your Birfday....
funny how so many people think my wife looks like her. her birthday is in a couple weeks so maybe i'll buy it for her and tell her that i'm giving her a happy husband.
Harbor Freight has great tools and they are very inexpensive. I used a harbor freight power steering puller and pulley tightener and it was better than the Snap On one I had and paid much less.
what is a powersteering puller?
It's used to pull the press-fit pulley off of your power steering pump. As my signature implies, I'm pretty much an improvisor and I always find a way to do things without the proper tools, most of the time I can find a way. Power steering pullies are the exception. The puller is ESSENTIAL if you ever want to replace a pump, IMO.
i see. i didn't realize you were referring to the pulley. we replaced the ps pump on my buddies truck and we were going to salvage the pulley, but the PO had welded it onto the output shaft and had done it such that it wasn't straight, ruining the pump and the crankshaft pulley.
Yup, just keep kidding yourself... I've walked thru HF, alot of the stuff is garbage.. Now sometimes, garbage will do, sometimes... Now a 3/4 drive set? Sure, the HF will do for most jobs..
One of our mechanics bought their Vise Grips, the jaws exploded the first time he used em...
Definitely take it as a compliment, she looks like Lindsey when she looked good.. Not so much anymore...
i know it's a compliment, but i don't need people to compare her to other beautiful women for me to know that she's gorgeous.
my whole set of ratcheting metric wrenches was like $7 at HF... you could prolly just stop in there for the same amount of gas it would cost to drive up here to the northern edge of The 'Couve.
that's probably true.
I haven't had a problem with mine yet. I got them so I could turn the 12-point bolts on my HAD driveshafts. Handy for working on my wife's Explorer too... pretty much all metric crap on it. 3 wrenches came in the set... and they are double ended, so ya get 6 different metric sizes to work with (8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15) . Item #90008-0VGA according to their web site...
