$400 wasn't bad at all. Shipping is a bit of a problem, though. Who would be willing to ship one to overseas, and how about payment...
I once found one 4wd NV4500 from ebay, and shipping for that was about $300 to finland. But I prefer 2wd tranny because I'm going to run divorced t-case.

Look for someone fromm NY, NJ, PA, CT, VA, MA, .. Mostly someone on the east coast and close to NY, it's the cheapest place to ship to Europe.
