I need to know size of the 2 different length screws for the trim around headliner and on A-pillar. Would anyone who has 87 K5 or that era be willing to take there out and let me know length and head size so I can pick up the right stainless screws to install my trim correctly?

Also size screws for the front sill plates on 87 K5? This info would really help me out guys!!!! Thanks in advance.

So know one can tell me if a #6 or # 8 head and the length? LMC shows only 2 different screws can't be that hard for someone to help a guy out.

My guess would be about 3/4" long but I have a 69 and nothing is what it is supposed to be. Can't you take one out somewhere else? Sheet metal screws are cheep buy a couple sizes then return the ones you don't use. I believe they should be pan heads but I think that the OEM screws are kinda different, like a tapered pan head.

If you are really fussy about getting the right ones...I would get some from a another truck.
I save all the screws and bolts from trucks I part out so I don't have to go on a treasure hunt!

"Help" brand or Dorman has those "special" interior screws with the coned washers...unfortunately matching an original one up is about the only way to find the correct sizes...no listings in a catalog for applications far as I lnow (maybe LMC or Brothers do list them ?)--they are "universal",the ones sold in parts stores.....keeping all the hardware you can off an original truck is never a bad idea, especially trinkets like these that are usually not reproduced..

Your local parts store will have some universal screws for it or another supply store will have different style screw. Near me we have a catch all store that has about everything you can think of including a bunch of auto screws shape and sizes along with clips and mount plugs. I believe they were #6 but I know they were 3/4 long

do the factory screws have a little built in washer on them that does not come off?

#6 3/4 seems right on spot but my holes have been made bigger by people over years. Guess try a #7 3/4 next or for sh%t's and giggles grab a few # 8's from work (no 7's there). Thanks for the input guy's making me push forward to get this thing back together.
