Anyone use a Diehard SECURITY battery?

    They run about $130 from Sears. For those who haven't seen them, they come with a little remote (like a car alarm key fob) that will, when you press the button, compltely turn off the juice. No juice, no stolen truck.
    As much as I'd rather have an Optima, this sounds like a great deal. I hate wiring and have no desire to put a real alarm on the thing.
    What do y'all think?

    one thing you need to keep in mind is decent car alarms change the frequency to arm and disarm the alarm constantsly.

    a security battery like that probably used the same frequence ALL the time, and thus you could probably record it with a palm pilot and it would defeat the purpose...

    that is definately something I would check into, but for 130 buck's I'd bet it would use the same frequency all the time.
