Anywhere to get internal beadlocks?

the way I look at it, its alot lighter than welding in some rings and all the hardware. Its locking both bead surfaces and its take about 10 seconds to remove the "beadlock" /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif There's no seating to get wrong and wheel can stil be balnaced and its street legal... plus when your running 5psi on a 16.5" rim and people are looking for the beadlock you can laugh! /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Greg, (Greg72) does have those on his rig. Greg just got back in town here for a few weeks and he and I are heading to Sacramento tomorrow morning and I could ask him anything you want about them. I am pretty sure he said he paid $750.00 for a set of 4 and they did come from Australia IIRC. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

no, greg72 has the made in sweden ones... not the aussie ones. Same idea, the aussies claim theirs is a more advanced/tougher system.. but they are essentially the same.

in any case, I think the greatest advantage that these internal bead locks offer is that you can remove them from one rim and add them to another VERY easily. So, if you can only afford super cheap steelies now, you can run them... later on if you want the super bling bling forged aluminum rims you can swap the locks over to them np. Pretty cool. Being 100% street legal, the ability to function as a run-flat and locking both beads is nice too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

am I missing something? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif even with the above listed links I cannot find anything as far as sizes/price/distributors, everytime I think I'm getting somewhere.... dead end /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

so where is this place? prices? I like this idea alot better than the regular bead locks!!!

I saw a post on Pirate about these. Did some searching. the company that makes them is Staun. I found there sight (don't have the link now, it was a few days ago) they listed all sizes including 16.5. The only price listed was $198 for the 15 inch. They are supposed to unveil them at the SEMA offroad event in Feb. here in the U.S.. They were hopeing to have a distributer set up in Cal. by the end of Feb. or March.

i just got my issues of fourwheeler & 4wheel & offroad. i think its 4wheel that has a comparo between that inflatable internal duel beedlock and omf's bead lock ringed wheel. i am at work so i dont have the issues here, i am 99% sure its 4wo though. i'm gonna run omf's on my welds when i can afford them.
