I have been looking at Dana 60 covers and I keep finding the one I am looking for in a Ford and Dodge Dana 60 applaction. I was just wanting to know if the one for a ford or dodge would bolt on to a chevy D60? TIA

Yes they will all bolt up but technically there are differences in both thickness and shape.

I don't know all of the thick applications but it seems that the OE covers for the Chevy front covers are always the thicker ones. The shape differences are around the filler plug (I believe the difference is in front vs rear applications).

Also, beware that for the finned aluminum covers there are different ones for front and rear to avoid tie rod interference. (tie rod interference is not an issue for the steel covers)

OK so as long as it is for the front. I should be OK? I have a Rock Rod on the K5 too if that makes a diff. I am looking at the finned ones just a little pretty for the old blazer.:D

....bling....

That is nice, I just cringe when I think about what would happen to that on my truck....:D

Seal the gasket to the cover, grease the other side of the gasket for ease of removal and sealing (if you feel you will pull the cover someday). My tech-tip of the day (weak :p:).

If I did rock I would have a pair of these.

But I do mud mostly, and a little Mall Crusing.
